Lunar New Year TV Khai Tam

A special Lunar New Year TV Khai Tam taping!  The center will be decorated and transformed into a recording studio. Show recording will be in Vietnamese. 

WHAT IS THE TOPIC OF THE GATHERING?

To celebrate Tet 2023, Year of the Cat. We will listen to Thay’s dharma talk on the cultivation in the Year of the Cat and have the opportunities to ask questions about our practices during Q&A.

HOW LONG DOES THE TAPING LAST?

Once you are checked in, and seated inside the stage area, filming of the show lasts approximately 90-120 minutes. However, this schedule is subject to change based on the needs of production. Once recording begins, guests are required to stay for the duration of the taping.  

APPROPRIATE ATTIRE?

You may be on camera, so dress to impress! It's not cocktail event but we do welcome the traditional Ao dai or your most beautiful or most colorful out of the year. Note: The center can get chilly, so maybe bring a sweater.  

CAN I BRING A SNACK AND/OR A DRINK?

Food and beverages are not permitted inside the center during the recording.

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES?

The use of electronic devices (cell phones, cameras, recording devices, etc.) is strictly prohibited during the recording, or you and your guests may be asked to leave. There are plenty of photo opportunities during break times!

ALLOWED WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Please plan to arrive early to settle into your seats and be a part of the featured audience of this festive TV show.  Doors will open at 5pm for guest seating.
