In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Compassionate Service Society (CSS), we are hosting the first time ever filmmakers contest!  This contest is designed for the young generation of the 21st century.  It’s time for you to shine and showoff your filmmaking talents!  Please share your creativity and your inspirations with the rest of the world!

In today’s world, everyone needs hope and peace.  Despite global issues, our communities have thrived from providing joy, healing, and harmony to those around us.  Often times, those who push the limits of what we can expect to achieve in selfless service is none other than the youth of today.  From advocating civil rights to combatting climate change, from standing up to bullying to caring for our senior citizens, young people have stood at the forefront and faced the challenges of their generation head-on.  Once again, we call upon our youth to bring a renewed sense of hope and peace to the world through a universally shared art: movies!  Through your own creative lens, please share with us a short film that embodies what it means to be kind and compassionate.  Please spread and share the news!
