Thank you letter from Thay Hang Truong
Dearest friends,
I am deeply moved and sincerely thank you for your generosity and
open hearted kindness in aiding the victims of the earthquake in
Haiti.
The path of a bodhisattva is that of compassion, of caring, of
sacrifice and of helping others. A bodhisattva’s spirit is one of
insurmountable generosity that surpasses the ego’s sense of
selfishness and narrow-mindedness. It overcomes the borders set by
race, ethnicity, culture and the way we think. Therefore, when you
open up your heart and make contributions to help the Haitian people
in need, it is one of the most practical steps on the path of a
bodhisattva. I would like to humbly give well deserved praise for
your support and donations.
Compassionate Service Society has named this project upon which we
provide safe water to the people of Haiti as Project Sweet Dews.
Sweet dews are the water of compassion according to Buddhist
literature. I ask that you keep giving your charitable support for
our project.
Please follow our updates and further information about Project
Sweet Dews and all our activities at www.compassheart.com.
I wish you and your family peace and always keep on opening up your
heart.
Thay Hang Truong
